| Details: JOB SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Engineer analyzes blueprints, job specifications and related data to visualize the manufacturing & machining processes required to make parts.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Other duties may be assigned. 1.       Reviews blue prints and all relevant data to fully understand the customer’s requirements and engineers the most cost effective way to manufacture parts.2.       When drawings are not available, reverse engineers from sample products to develop the data necessary to understand the job requirements.3.       Manipulates electronic drawing files to desired formats and utilizes ProEngineer/ Auto CAD and Solidworks to modify or create drawings.4.       Programs CNC turrets, lasers and jetcams.5.       Creates shop routings to include processing times.6.       Completes fixture and tooling selection and design7.       Measures and inspects parts.8.       Maintains part routings.9.       Disseminates the manufacturing steps through written instructions. 10.    Communicates with the shopfloor, customers, and vendors.11.    Recommends and supports improvement initiatives.12.    Weld expertise needed on welded parts13.    Prepare and manage weld specifications14.    Weld Audits Interested and qualified candidates should send resumes to Adam Leasure  Adam Leasure | Account Managertrustaff Personnel O. 513.791.9675 ext. 6194D. 513.386.6194F. 513.386.6195 | ||||
